The CSE DU Alumni Association ("the Association") is committed to ensuring transparency and clarity in our refund processes. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued for payments made to the Association.
Scope of Refund Policy
This policy applies to payments made for the following:
- Membership fees
- Event registrations
- Donations (if applicable, as stated in specific campaigns or initiatives)
Refund Eligibility:
This policy applies to payments made for the following:
- Membership Fees:Membership fees are generally non-refundable. However, refunds may be considered in the event of a duplicate payment or a proven technical error during the payment process. verification.
- Membership Fees: Members are required to pay an annual membership fee, the details of which are provided on the Association’s website. Fees are non-transferable and subject to revision.
- Event Registrations:
- Refunds for event registrations will be granted if the event is canceled by the Association.
- If a participant is unable to attend an event, refund requests must be submitted at least 7 working days before the event date. Requests made after this period may not be entertained.
- Donations: Donations are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in the terms of the donation campaign.
Refund Process:
- To request a refund, you must submit a written request via email, providing:
- Your name and contact information
- Details of the payment (e.g., date, amount, and purpose)
- Reason for the refund request
- The Association will review your request and notify you of the decision within 5 working days of receiving the request.
Refund Timeline:
If a refund is approved, the amount will be processed within 7 to 10 working days from the date of approval. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Non-Refundable Scenarios:
The following scenarios are not eligible for refunds:
- Change of mind after payment
- Late or no-show attendance at events
- Voluntary cancellation of membership
